The body of a man who had been missing since attending a concert on Saturday night has been found on the train tracks near Ngaruawahia today.
Jayden Davis was last seen at the Tribal Pride music event at the Turangawaewae Marae on Saturday night.
His family launched a social mediasearch for him on Sunday after he failed to return home to Te Kauwhata, urging people to look around their properties for him.
The Facebook post was updated at 2pm on Monday with his family confirming his body had been found.
"Thank you whanau and friends. Our brother's body has been found. The whanau would like to thank everyone from near and far for your efforts in the search for our brother," the post said.
The family urged anyone with further information to contact Police on 07 828 7560.
Police confirmed this afternoon a body was found on train tracks in the area of Great South Rd in Ngaruawahia and the death was being treated as unexplained.
His body was found not far from the marae on River Rd.
