Save A 20-year-old found guilty of stabbing his friend in the eye outside a Flockton Street party in Christchurch last year will be sentenced today.
Nivard Smith will be sentenced for wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
A jury found him guilty in October last year.
The knife was
left embedded through the temple and eye socket of his victim.
Nivard Smith will be sentenced at the Christchurch District Court this morning.
