The man whose body was found in a burnt out unit in Christchurch last week has been named.
He is 66-year-old Stephen Rayner. Police released the details in a media release today.
"Mr Rayner's family are travelling to Christchurch from overseas," the statement said.
"At this point in time there
is nothing to suggest the fire is suspicious, however the investigation is continuing."
His body was found inside the unit on Rutherford St, Woolston.
