A 38-year-old accused of murdering a man on New Year's Day will face trial next year.
Peter Shaun Jonathon Job appeared briefly at the High Court at Auckland today and waved at supporters in the public gallery.
His lawyer Maria Pecotic said she had not finished reading through the court
file to determine whether any pre-trial arguments were needed.
Justice Brewer remanded Job in custody to reappear in August for a call-over.
He is due to stand trial in March next year.
