A middle-aged man who was flown to hospital following a gas bottle explosion in Auckland is in a stable condition.
The Auckland Westpac Rescue Helicopter said they transported the man to Middlemore Hospital at 12.20pm from Muriwai.
He had serious burns and was in a serious condition, a statement said.
