Man robbed by youths in broad daylight attack

Police are hunting three youths after a 38-year-old man was attacked and robbed in broad daylight in central Hastings this morning.

The man was walking on Lyndon Road East about 10.45am when he was approached by the trio who pushed him to the ground and stole his wallet, police said.

The youths, believed to be about 15-years-old, then took off down Karamu Road South.

Police appealed to anyone with information about the attack to come forward.
