Man not involved in inquiry, says police

On Wednesday, May 3 the Herald published a photograph of a man with a statement made by the police that they believed he was closely linked to the recent BNZ skimming incidents in Auckland.

The police have now confirmed that the man is no longer of any interest to them in the investigation.

In fact, the man has been a victim of skimming.
