An elderly man killed in a crash on State Highway 1 near Kaikoura last week has been named by police.
Blenheim man William Gordon McCallum, 77, died after the collision between a van and a trailer near Clarence on Thursday shortly before 3pm.
Another person was taken to Christchurch Hospital
with serious injuries.
A serious crash investigation is underway to establish the cause of the crash.
