Police have released the name of the man who died from his injuries two days after a crash at Atiamuri last week.
He was 31-year-old Derick Johann Anderson, from Taupo.
Mr Anderson was the driver of a car which collided with a 20-seater bus, at the intersection of State Highway1 and State Highway 30 about 4.20pm on Thursday.
He died in Waikato Hospital on Saturday.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.
