A 22-year-old man killed when he was struck by campervan in Gore at the weekend has been named.
Regan John Weatherall, of Blenheim, was the sole weekend road toll victim.
He was struck just after midnight on Sunday on State Highway 1 outside the Ravensdown fertiliser plant dying
at the scene.
Sergeant Craig Sinclair, of Gore police, said several motorists had had to take evasive action to avoid Mr Weatherall before he was hit.
