A man has been kicked off a flight bound for Auckland after behaving badly.
Police said the 47-year-old was removed from the flight shortly before take-off at Queenstown International Airport about 2.30pm.
The Auckland-bound flight was delayed for 15 minutes.
Air New Zealand in-flight service manager Graham Schist told police
the passenger had become argumentative after being asked to move seats.
A police officer boarded the aircraft, and at the request of the flight captain, removed the man from the plane.
