A man who falsified details on his GST return has been sentenced to nine months' jail.
Roger Brown was sentenced in the Hawera District Court yesterday for deliberately falsifying details in his GST returns, Inland Revenue said.
During an IRD investigation, it was revealed Brown had claimed expenses of $175,000
