A man has suffered serious crush injuries after a large log rolled on him at a forestry site north of Lake Taupo.
The Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter winched a 46-year-old man from the scene of the forestry accident late this afternoon.
He had sustained serious injuries to his abdomen, chest
and both arms.
The helicopter flew the man to Waikato Hospital.
