Man injured after truck carrying house clips van

A van and truck carrying a house collided on SH1 near Clinton this afternoon.

A police spokeswoman said the truck clipped the van on SH1 between Black Rd and Watt Rd about 3pm.

One person was extracted from the van with minor injuries.

Police could not confirm reports on social media that the road was closed after the crash.

A witness said one lane is open.
