Man injured after he fell down shaft at Greenlane construction site

A man has serious injuries after he fell down a shaft on an Auckland construction site.

St John spokeswoman Jennifer Porter said an ambulance, special emergency response team and a manager were on the Greenlane site.

The man was in a serious condition and has been transported to Auckland City Hospital. St John was called at 11.58am and Police were also on scene.

WorkSafe New Zealand has been advised.
