Man injured after electric shock

A man has been injured after suffering an electric shock in West Auckland this evening.

Emergency services were called to a home on Kauri Point Rd, Laingholm about 8pm.

It's unclear how the man suffered the shock or how serious his injuries are.

St John ambulance is making its way to the scene.
