Man in critical condition after falling from car in Kingsland

A man has been rushed to hospital in a critical condition after falling from a vehicle in an inner Auckland suburb.

Police said the man was in a critical condition after an incident on New North Rd in Kingsland on Saturday night.

Police were called at about 7.55pm, after the man reportedly fell from a vehicle between Ace Place and Mostyn St.

Inquiries are ongoing into the circumstances around the incident.

Hato Hone St John said it was called to a traffic incident in Kingsland at 7.51pm.

It responded with an ambulance and one rapid response vehicle.

Crews transported one person in a critical condition to Auckland City Hospital.

St John referred the Herald to the police for any further information.
