Man in Ararimu seriously injured after being assaulted in vehicle

A man in Ararimu, in South Auckland, has been seriously injured after being assaulted in his vehicle.

Police were called out to Turner Rd at 9.30pm.

The man was seriously injured but his condition is not believed to be life threatening.

The attack happened near Chosen Valley Christian Camp.

Police are speaking with locals to ascertain what happened.

Ararimu is about 50km south of the Auckland CBD.
