Man hospitalised after falling off wharf in Auckland

Save A drunk man was hospitalised this morning after leaning too far over the edge of a Viaduct wharf and falling into Auckland Harbour.
The incident happened at the viaduct's Princes Wharf just before 6.30am, a northern ambulance communications spokeswoman said.
A police maritime spokesman said the man was able to
clamber onto part of the jetty where the police boat Deodar III picked him up.
He suffered only minor injuries.
