Man hospitalised after fall from roof

A 63-year-old Whitianga man was flown to Waikato Hospital yesterday after he fell through a roof.

The man fell 2m through the roof and into a safety net, hitting his leg on a rafter as he fell.

His condition was initially considered serious but later downgraded.
