A man has died after being hit by a car in the Christchurch suburb of Sydenham tonight.
The crash happened on Huxley Street, between Columbo St and Burlington St, at around 9:40pm.
The road is closed while the Serious Crash Unit investigates, police said.
Motorists are being asked to be
patient as diversions are being put in place.
No further information was available at this time, police said.
