Save The Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to Wairakei, after a man fell from a horse.
A 67-year-old man who fell from his rearing horse has been flown to hospital with a suspected spinal injury.
The man reportedly fell from his horse at a Wairakei farm, north of Taupo, and struck his head on the ground.
He reported a loss of feeling in his extremities to
paramedics.
The Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter flew him to Middlemore Hospital.
