A man died after suffering a medical event and pulling his car to the side of State Highway 83 in Canterbury this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the incident on the Otematata-Kurow Rd section of the highway near Lake Aviemore shortly before 4pm.
The man collapsed on the side
of the road and was dead when St John Ambulance arrived.
One lane of the road was closed while emergency services attended.
