A man has died with serious burns at a house in Onehunga.

Emergency services responded to the incident on Felix St in Onehunga.

A police spokesman confirmed a body had been located at a property having sustained serious burns.

Police were continuing to make inquiries, but there did not appear to be any suspicious circumstance into the death at this stage.

A worker in the area told the Herald a fire truck, ambulance and St John vehicles were parked along Felix St towards the Mays Rd end.

Staff at Winstone House and PTS Logistics confirmed there were vehicles on the road, but were unsure what happened. They had not seen smoke or heard sirens.
