Man dies after two-car crash at Dairy Flat

A man has died after two cars collided at Dairy Flat, north west of Auckland today.

Emergency services were called to the area at 7am after the crash at an intersection.

A badly hurt man was being taken to hospital in an ambulance but later died, said John Fraser from the police Northern Comunications Centre in Auckland.

Ambulance staff said two other people were also taken to hospital. Thier condition is not known.
