Save A man who lost control of his motorbike and crashed yesterday has died in hospital.
The 55-year-old lost control and hit a bank when he was travelling on a state highway with a group of motorcyclists in the Coromandel Peninsula.
The man was riding a BMW motorcycle on State Highway
25A about 2km from Puketui Rd.
He crashed at about 3.30pm and was flown to Waikato hospital in a critical condition.
However, Waikato Police today announced the man died at about 10pm last night.
