A man has died after being pulled from the water at Pilot Bay Beach, Mount Maunganui, this morning.
A police spokesperson said officers are currently attending the scene.
Police were notified of the incident, where a man had been pulled from the water unconscious, about 8.20am.
“Sadly, the man waspronounced deceased at the scene,” the spokesperson said.
