Man dies after being hit by train in Mt Wellington

A man has died after being hit by a train in Mt Wellington.

The incident happened near Abattoir Lane just after 2pm.

Police said the victim was a 35-year-old man.

The incident was attended by all emergency services and the matter has been referred to the Coroner.
