A man aged in his 40s was critically injured after his car and a truck collided near Pukekohe yesterday.
Emergency services were called to Harrisville Rd about 2.40pm, a Pukekohe police spokesman said.
The driver of the car suffered head, chest and abdominal injuries, he said.
He was taken to
Middlemore Hospital in a stable but critical condition.
The truck driver escaped injury, the spokesman said.
