Man charged over threats to kill Labour staffers

A man has been charged for allegedly making threats against the Labour Party at the offices of leader David Shearer and former leader Phil Goff today.

ONE News reported tonight that a man walked into Goff's electorate office in Three Kings today demanding to see Goff, the former Labour leader. The man was told to make an appointment, and then allegedly threatened to kill staff and told them he had left a bomb in the building. The man reportedly made the same threats at Shearer's office later.

Auckland police reportedly have arrested a 45-year-old man and charged him with threatening to kill.
