A man has been arrested after a firearm was allegedly pointed at two female police officers in Lower Hutt.
The officers were in a car around 11am when a car drove past and a weapon was pointed at them.
The Armed Offenders Squad raided a Naenae Rd property at around
1pm in connection to the incident.
A man has been taken into custody and police are still searching for the weapon.
