Man arrested after knife threat

Police have arrested a man after they were called to an incident in Lower Hutt where he allegedly threatened someone with a knife.

The armed offenders squad, which was carrying out training exercises in the area, attended the incident on George Street in Stokes Valley after concerned residents called police about 8.50am, a spokeswomen said.

No one was injured.
