A 50-year-old man who died after the quad bike he was riding crashed on a farm near Ashburton has been named.
Police said farm worker Johnathan Madera suffered serious injuries when his ATV crashed into a fence on a Mt Hutt farm last Sunday, September 25.
The accident happened around
6am.
He was treated by ambulance staff but died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
WorkSafe NZ have been notified and the matter has been referred to the coroner.
