Malborough man guilty of paua poaching

A 36-year-old Marlborough man has been found guilty of paua poaching off d'Urville Island in the Sounds.

After a two-day defended hearing in Blenheim District Court, Judge Bruce Davidson yesterday found Matthew Charles Pickering guilty of charges of paua poaching and allowing his boat to be used for that purpose.
