Makoura extends fancied Heretaunga

Makoura College gave the more fancied Heretaunga College plenty to think about in their Wellington regional secondary schools netball match this week.

The result of this division two game was in doubt right up until the final whistle before Heretaunga won 30 to 28.

Kapiti beat St Matthew's Collegiate in another division two fixture, 41-28.

The division two points table is: Chilton St James 22, Heretaunga 20, Kapiti 18, Makoura 9, St Matthew's 8, Tawa 8, Samuel Marsden 8, Onslow 0.

Next week's draw sees Makoura playing Samuel Marsden at St Orans on Monday and St Matthew's against Heretaunga at Upper Hutt on Tuesday.
