Anton Coltham has won Mahunga Golf Club's Dove Trophy competition.
He played Laurence Butler in the final last Saturday and it was Butler who made the early running, taking out the first two holes.
From there, however, it was Coltham who called the tune, a string of pars with a
birdie thrown in taking him to a comfortable success.
A par competition played in conjunction with the final, saw some excellent scores returned.
The best of these was the 8 up total from Fred Brittain in the second group with Kevin May second on 6 up. Allan Biel and Doug Leach both finished on 5 up. In the first group, Coltham was first on 6 up, followed by Damian Carroll and Brent Daniels on 4 up.
