Orora is the world's newest packaging company. Our world class paper mill in Botany, commissioned in 2012, is one of the most sophisticated and efficient paper mills of its size in the world producing 400,000 tonnes of packaging paper per year. We currently have an exciting opportunity for atalented individual to join Orora, to be trained in, and to work in various functional areas of the paper mill process. The role involves a range of hands on activities part of our routine shut downs, housekeeping and on-the-run tasks. We operate on a rotating 12 hour shift roster, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. A six figure remuneration package is on offer.
Tasks include: • Use of hand tools, mobile equipment and overhead cranes • Quality testing, machine setup modifications and part change out activities • Operating a series of complex DCS and PLC systems Ideally you'll have experience in: • Shift work in a manufacturing high speed process environment • Complex DCS control systems • Paper Making or other high-tech industry experience And demonstrate: • A safety and customer first focus • Problem solving and decision making skills • Fantastic communication skills • Proactive and flexible work ethic
