The young man who drowned at Eastbourne Beach in Lower Hutt on Sunday was Joshua Caleb Rongomai Leadbetter, police have confirmed today.
The 30-year-old local man was pulled unconscious from Wellington Harbour about 3.45pm and died later that day in Wellington Hospital.
