Last night’s Lotto numbers were 3, 23, 11, 33, 26 and 1. The Powerball was 10 and the Bonus Ball was 39.
Lotto NZ told 1 News that the winning First Division tickets were sold at Paper Plus Waihī & Toyworld in Waihī, Ōtaki Post and Lotto in Ōtaki, and on MyLotto to a player from Otago.
Anyone who bought a ticket from those stores should check their ticket as soon as possible either in store, on MyLotto, or on the MyLotto app, Lotto NZ told 1 News.
Last night’s draw came four days after a lucky Aucklander won $5.5m in Saturday’s Lotto Powerball draw.
That winning ticket was sold at New World Green Bay in Auckland.
The total prize was made up of $5m from Powerball First Division and $500,000 from Lotto First Division.
A week earlier, one winner from Whangārei took home the $6m Powerball jackpot.
The combined Lotto and Powerball prize amount was $6.2m, the largest prize since one player scooped a $16m jackpot on December 10.
What to do if you win
Ticket holders can see immediately if they have won if they purchased a ticket through MyLotto. Prizes of $1000 or less are automatically credited to the account.
For prizes exceeding $1000, winners must complete an online prize claim form.
Winners with physical tickets must still visit a Lotto retailer to claim their prize.
For the Powerball jackpot to be claimed, a ticket holder must get all six Lotto numbers correct as well as the added Powerball number.
