Two lucky Lotto players will be celebrating after each winning $500,000 in last night’s Strike Four draw.
Saturday’s winning numbers were 29, 4, 35, 17, 31 and 37. The bonus ball was 33 and the Powerball was 7.
The Powerball jackpot had grown to $12 million although no winner wasdrawn. Two Aucklanders have received a welcome financial boost ahead of Christmas however, winning on Strike Four.
Splitting a cash prize of $1m, the punters’ lucky tickets were sold at Woolworths Lynn Mall and through the MyLotto app to another player from Auckland.
Separately, Lotto has called on residents of Westport to check their tickets because one could be worth half a million dollars.
A ticket bought at New World Westport for the November 1 draw won $500,000 and still has not been claimed.
“With the holidays coming up fast, we’d love to find this winner and get them paid and celebrating,” said Will Hine, head of corporate communications at Lotto NZ.

Last night’s draw came just weeks after a record-breaking $55m Lotto draw.
That life-changing prize was split between three players, with each taking home $18.3m.
One of the tickets was sold at New World Kawerau and its owner, Clare Gallagher, said the town’s residents were “really excited about some great news for Kawerau”.
Ticket holders can see immediately if they have won if they purchased a ticket through MyLotto. Prizes of $1000 or less are automatically credited to the account.
For prizes exceeding $1000, winners must complete an online prize claim form.
Winners with physical tickets must still visit a Lotto retailer to claim their prize.
