The winner of tonight's $22.2 million Lotto draw purchased their ticket in Ashburton.
The winning ticket was sold on MyLotto and is made up of $22 million from Powerball First Division and $200,000 from Lotto First Division.
This is the single largest Powerball prize won so far this year andit's the fourth time that the top Powerball prize has been won in 2016 - meaning there are now four more millionaires in New Zealand.
