Lotto Powerball jackpots to $38 million

Lotto's Powerball will jackpot once again after last night's $34 million draw had no division one winners.

The prize will increase to $38 million on Saturday.

The winning numbers for last night's draw were 29, 25, 9, 36, 2, 13 and the bonus number was 11.

The winning powerball number was 6.

"If a single player is lucky enough to win the top Powerball prize on Saturday night - it will be the single largest prize ever won in New Zealand," said Emilia Mazur, GM Corporate Communications of Lotto NZ.

Three Lotto players from Whangarei, Auckland and Hokitika took home $333,333 each with Lotto First Division in last night's draw.

The winning tickets were sold at Onerahi Bookshop & Lotto in Whangarei, Shree Superette in Auckland and Hokitika New World in Hokitika.
