Lotto luck hits Hawke’s Bay with $333k win and $11k prize

A Lotto ticket sold in Waipawa won $333,333 in First Division while a Napier player won $11,454 with a Second Division ticket from Woolworths Napier.

A Lotto ticket sold in Waipawa has won a share of First Division in Wednesday’s night draw, with three winners across the country each taking home $333,333.

The winning ticket was sold at BP Waipawa bringing a major prize to Central Hawke’s Bay.

Meanwhile, a Napier Lotto player also had reason to celebrate, winning $11,454 with Lotto Second Division.

The Napier ticket was sold at Woolworths Napier.

In total, 25 people across New Zealand won Second Division in the draw.

Lotto NZ encouraged anyone who bought their ticket from the winning stores to check it as soon as possible.
