Two teenage boys have been charged after allegedly trying to loot a boat washed up near disaster-hit Bundaberg.
A police chopper spotted the pair trying to get into the cabin of the boat at Bargara on Thursday night.
When officers arrived, the boys tried to flee but were caught ashort distance away with marine equipment allegedly stolen from a different vessel targeted in an earlier raid.
The boys will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
Meanwhile, a 61-year-old has also been charged with looting after allegedly stealing a refrigerator in flooded Bundaberg.
