Top All Black player Jonah Lomu looks set to marry for the second time, as a message on his website refers to long-time girlfriend Teina Stace as his "fiancee".
Lomu, 27, and Stace, 24, started dating in 1998 six weeks after his marriage of two years to South African-born Tanya Rutter,
25, fell apart. The pair live in a clifftop Wellington home.
On his website, Lomu thanks friends, family and fans for supporting him during his recent hospital stay in England, for a twisted intestine. "I have received so many kind wishes, cards and emails I would not dare not get well and fit now ... I am also grateful to my fiancee Teina for her strength."
Lomu is due back from England this week.
