Local head for Amex

WELLINGTON - American Express has named Anna Hynes as vice-president and country manager for New Zealand.

Ms Hynes is now vice-president and area manager for Pakistan, Indonesia and Malaysia.

Amex said the New Zealand position had been created because of the increasing growth and importance of the local market.

Barry Arnold, Amex's senior vice-president and manager for the region, said: "New Zealand presents a tremendous growth opportunity for the company."-NZPA
