New Zealand stuntman Randy Campbell prefers the daredevil-chic look of stars and stripes.

New Zealand's Greatest Daredevil Stuntman, Randy Campbell has contributed to the flag debate this morning. Matt Heath caught up with the stuntman at a swanky cafe in central Auckland. It was 10am, he ordered a vodka and yelled his answers.

      It's a must read.

[The four flag designs] are not options, they're dog turds. They're nothing to do with good flag design and more about a prime minister trying to ram his rugby fetish down everyone's throats. The idea of pasting a badly drawn All Blacks logo over our current flag is hugely disrespectful to all the brave daredevil stuntmen and women who have to risk their lives while wearing that flag.

8.07am: The latest news on the refugee crisis is that Germany has reinstated border controls. All trains from Austria have been stopped and passports are being checked at the border. Read more here.

8.03am: Check out this amazing video of how crocodiles propel themselves out of the water using their strong tails. Pretty cool video by National Geographic photographer Trevor Frost.

Friends, sorry it took me a day longer to get this video out to you; I was on a one day assignment for @sciencemagazine and had limited access to Internet. But here it is!!! Crocodiles have incredibly strong tails. Their tails propel them in the water like torpedoes from a submarine. In fact, as you see here, their tails are so strong that they can propel their entire body out of the water. Crocodiles are so cool. Stay tuned for more amazing crocodile photos and videos. @eddiebauer #liveyouradventure

8.00am: Here's another update from Auckland Airport. Approximately 19 domestic regional flights have been cancelled and 13 domestic regional flights have been delayed, due to the fog. One flight to Christchurch has been delayed and one flight cancelled due to the fog. Domestic flights to Wellington, Dunedin and Queenstown have not been affected by the fog. International flights have not been affected by the fog.

7.55am: MetService says the fog across Auckland will break up this morning.

7.50am: If there are a few people heading back to work today feeling worse for wear, it might be a good idea to read this article. Could a weekend of binge-drinking worsen your cold? From the few studies that explore the cost of binge drinking, we know excess alcohol intake affects the immune system. Read more here.

Do you think this is right? The coach of a children's football team on Auckland's North Shore mowed a football filed and filled in mud holes so the team could play a game on their local field. With a few hours to go before his team's game yesterday, Stephen Williams said he was angered and ashamed of the playing state of the Albany field.

He said Auckland Council had refused to mow the grass on the soft ground before the game
