Live chat: Philip Duncan on Cyclone Lusi

Weatherwatch.co.nz forecaster Philip Duncan joined us at 1pm for a live chat on Cyclone Lusi.

The tropical storm is set to track across the North Island tomorrow, before crossing the South Island on Sunday, according to the latest MetService forecast.

It is expected to bring severe gales, heavy rain and probably power cuts to much of New Zealand.

Lusi has already killed at least three people in Vanuatu including a 6-year-old boy trapped in a mudslide, and an elderly man and woman hit by flying debris
