US-based analyst Anne-Marie Roerink spoke to Jamie Mackay on The Country today.

Today on The Country radio show, host Jamie Mackay catches up with Anne-Marie Roerink, the founder and president of the 210 Analytics research firm.

She’s the woman behind the Power of Meat study, and talks about a boom in demand for red meat.

Monday’s weather man backing up on a Friday – One rare red and 22 orange rain and wind alerts have been issued across the North Island, as the “multi-hazard”, potentially life-threatening Cyclone Vaianu approaches New Zealand.

The red alert is a severe strong wind warning for Coromandel and Great Barrier Island from 5am to 6pm on Sunday, with wind gusts expected to hit 140km/h.

The founder and president of the 210 Analytics research firm, which specialises in market research.

Since 2006, she has produced the Power of Meat study, providing an annual update of US shopper habits regarding meat and poultry.

Today, we talk about the boom in demand for protein and red meat, especially among Millennials and Gen-Zers who want to MAHA (Make America Healthy Again).
