Lindis Pass reopens

The Lindis Pass between Omarama and Tarras has reopened.

It was closed last night and for most of the morning after a crash between a campervan and car.

A group of Spanish tourists is being interviewed by police in relation to the crash. One person was critically injured and the tourists received minor injuries.

Police say motorists travelling through the area on State Highway 8 can expect delays.
